The light in this room's been burned out for years,
ain't seen the need to replace it.
Same furniture remains in place,
with just a little more wear on them.

I don't see a need to change.
It's comfortable,

The walk to work remains my exercise
and morning entertainment.
Familiar storefronts and signage,
antics of strangers out of context.
All's well, all the same.
